of the Day:
"My guitar is love,
and my guitar's all I need.t
My guitar is special,
'cause i plays the songs,
not me"
My Guitar. - Ben Lee.
Saw
Afrika Bambaataa last night @ the Cavern, spectacular. I seriously recommend
you go and see him live, or get some of his records. We had a great time,
& Pete got his autograph.
I was lucky enough to find "Luka" and "Laughing all the way
to the cleaners" by the Lemonheads on 7" at a record fair the
other week which i'm chuffed about. That's all really. I noticed a problem
with the links on the tab & lyrics pages, which should be sorted now.
I'll add some new stuff soon.

Quote(s)
of the Day:
"If I could make a list
Of my mistakes and regrets
I'd put your name on top
And every line after it."
Mistakes & Regrets - ...and you will know us by the trail of
dead.
"Back
bone of night will break un-noticed,
heaven and earth with cry."
Backbone of night - Jimi Tenor.
Hey
all! been a while again since the last update. Unfortunately Tim and the
Boy Valentine have neglected to plan their indie night at Timepiece, and
therefore noone really knows when it's gonna be :(
Great week? great week.
Hexstatic @ the Cavern on friday - v. c*o*o*l Ninja Tune stuff on on a bit
more of an experimental vibe. Fabulous visuals that really complimented
the music tons. Then poor Damien was graced with my presence on his birthday
party saturday, where i was incredibly wrecked, but it's all good. It's
TRADITION.
Then had a v. a*c*e sunday @ the Comedy Club Avec the boy Valentine and
peeps inc. the beautiful Steph. - You reminded me that i should actually
do some updates. I'm pleased you like the site, i try :o)
Now, i recieved an e-mail from Pax Acidus
informing me that they've had the site completely overhauled graphically.
It's looking too cool :) It's now really Hi-Tech looking. If you haven't
visited them before then i recommend that you follow the link above, or
here:
I'm hoping
that everyone is well.
Recommended listening:
Cptn. Beefheart - "Trout Mask Replica."
Type O Negative - "October Rust."
Take care,

"I was raised by two witches and a giant...
Cock-a-doodle-doo!"
Blues X Man - Jon Spencer Blues Explosion.
Thank
f**k... My exams are over, my lab background report is written and ready
to hand in, and it's the start of a new semester.
New topics... new topics are great when you start them, like, for the first
2-3 weeks of lectures. But soon after you realise that they all suck as
much as previous topics. God Damn You Maths!
Why must you taunt me so?!?! Now that the workload is a bit calmer, i'm
gonna mess with the site again some more.
Sam's lent me his entire collection of My Life Story c.d.'s to listen to.
I told him it was all pretty mediocre!! for a laugh! but he didn't find
it funny! "New New Yorker" and "Angels"
are pretty mighty songs tho'. V. cool french girl next door lent me the
2nd. Jazzmatazz record. It's ace. Jamiroquai and Bernard Purdy guest
on it. It's all good.
Might be goin' to see the Webb Brothers again 2morrow night. They were great
last time, and really friendly guys. Reading Kerouac's "Desolation
Angels" at the mo'. It's good. Got through Bukowski's "The most
beautiful woman in town and other stories"
at the beginning of term - ace, quite nasty in places. And an anthology
of stories by Nick Hornby, Irvine Welsh and others put together for a charity
helping autistic children. "Speaking with angels." A VERY GOOD
BOOK.
Good album: "New Conception Of Jazz" by Bugge Wesseltoft. A very
chilled album from '96, v. jazz, and a bit reminiscent of Jimi Tenor's "Organism"
in places.
Hope
all is well.
Take care all,
and take it easy.

yesterday I got so old it made me want to cry..."
Inbetween

As
some of you guys'll know, i'm home in bournemouth now! Tho' i've been struck
down with a hardcore cold, and i've got tons of shite revision to do.
Have you ever noticed how awful it feels when you find that an ex has a
new boy/girl and has generally moved onto new jobs 'n' friends and stuff,
and you look at yrself and see that you don't have a new boy/girl, you haven't
done anything new, and you're still stuck in the same rut you've been in
for the past few years? Well i've noticed that, and I loath it. It makes
you paranoid and it makes you miserable. I have lots of b'mouth friends,
but if I have a single day without talking to anyone, i'll immediately think
thrs a conspiracy against my social life. It sucks, and i can't help it.
Anyhow, I'm starting to add a lyrics and tab section to the party. My plan
is to make it huge, with a wide variety of music! What can I do to make
me feel i've moved on?
-answers to [email protected]
Friends
Leo of Console and Kendall came to b'mouth
to see Duran Duran on Saturday, then came to the Villa afterwards. They
got backstage and met Simon Le Bon!!!
ROCK!!!
Take
care everyone.
Merry Christmas.

Quote Of The Day:
"God made me funky..." God made me funky. -The Headhunters.
On friday, me and Sam
jumped in the car and drove to St. Thomas to get to a shop that sells really
cheap booze. We wanted to go out, but our funds were limited, so the plan
was to go to "Cheers" and stock up on booze that we'd drink before
going to Timepiece. So we bought 24 bottles of "Bavaria Millennium Ale".
Which we drank
before going to Timepiece. When I woke up the next morning I found that
I had a mean headache.... but three bottles of Millennium ale left. So in
the interest of science, I stuck on Easy Rider, and tested
the theory commonly known as the "Hair Of The Dog" by consuming
my last three bottles.
It didn't work, and I felt like crap for the rest of the day.
But I did get a Lemonheads T for £2 from The Real McCoy.
Easy.

Hi
there. Just as you thought i'd updated my site properly, I decided I wasn't
happy with the way it looked, so I changed it again. This time I think it
looks c*o*o*l. I'm pleased with it.Quite
a few people have been to the messageboard, which is nice, but not that
suprising since I have been manically e-mailing people to get them to visit!
I've
still got a fair bit to work on, and a horrifically huge amount of work
to do for my course at the the moment. So we'll have to see what happens.
In the meantime, leave messages, and/or e-mail me here:
Ollie.
